5 out of the 10 pots have germinated now! The germination rate is higher than I had anticipated.
I placed all 10 pots at different locations. Those which have germinated have one thing in common: They receive more sunlight than the others. The one that germinated first was placed indoors by the window that receive sunlight in the morning.
This has confirmed that sunlight is one of the key factors in the growth of cherry tomatoes.
