I planted a piece of ginger in the morning today. The piece had a budding eye. I planted it only half an inch deep.
I did some research after I planted it. Yes - after. Doesn't it make sense!?
Gingers should be planted 2 inches deep into the soil. They don't like direct sunlight. Need rich soil. Moist but not soggy. Can't stand strong wind as well.
Harvest: 8-10 months. I need lots of patience.
